About The Executives

 

The Executives enhance the dignity and quality of life of seniors at LAJHealth through personal generosity, involvement and fundraising.

We are comprised of more than 350 prominent business and community leaders who come together to raise awareness and funds for LAJHealth. Guided by the principles of philanthropy, community, and responsibility, we support over 4000 seniors annually- 1300 seniors who live on two campuses in Reseda, and many seniors living across Los Angeles, helped through our community-based services. LAJHealth brings choices to seniors living in-residence for lives of beauty, joy and community. LAJHealth's commitment to dignity and respect is based upon a belief that each person is cherished and life celebrated in a manner that maximizes independence and well-being. Over 75% of our residents would not normally be able to afford the care LAJHealth provides, and we proudly stand by our need-blind admission policy, caring for our residents equally regardless of financial status. LAJHealth also operates the Annenberg School of Nursing, an educational and clinical program to prepare nursing students for state license examinations as Licensed Vocational Nurses.

Since its inception in 1992, The Executives has raised over $10 million for LAJHealth. We are constantly growing our support. We are a caring community-building friendships, business relationships, and camaraderie while pursuing our collective goals. We host a wide array of events, inclding our annual Golf Classic, dynamic speakers, fundraisers, socials and programs with and for residents.

Generous members of the community raise funds each year to ensure LAJH can continue providing outstanding care to its residents. Your support of The Executives and LAJHealth helps provide a first-rate nursing staff; kosher meals; and a full slate of resident activities from Shabbat celebrations, to movies and music, to arts and crafts. We support not just longer life, but true quality of life.
